Cascade Financial is located in the picturesque North East Victoria township of Bright.
Servicing clients locally in Bright, in Shepparton and Melbourne and other regional areas, Cascade Financial was established as a company with the passion in developing deep and ongoing financial planning relationships with clients across Melbourne and the North East Victorian Region.
In operation since 2015, Cascade Financial is the new name and the message it wishes to send is strong. Looking after your financial wealth is part of what makes us who we are. Also importantly, is the health and well being of how we live and Cascade Financial educates clients in making good positive financial decisions so that lifestyle can be the upmost priority.
Over time, our personal commitments continue to grow andwe often lose sight of what makes us happy. Cascade Financial is hereto assist in the process of getting what you want through strategic financial decisions that work for you.
Cascade, named after the Mountain located in the Banff National Park in Canada where the mountain was named after the waterfall/cascade on the southern flanks of the peak.
Our focus is to work alongside our clients to find the right solutions in a number of different areas including the ethical investing environment, and we are committed to understanding our clients and provide solutions that meet their needs.
Mark Trahair
Mark is the Director of Cascade Financial and our financial adviser who assists clients in a range of solutions. Helping clients navigate their way through financial choices and protecting their wealth are some of the areas Mark assist his clients.
More recently, Mark has followed his passion to educate and provide solutions around investment choices in the ethical environment, whether it’s within their Superannuation fund or with funds from a bank account.
Mark has a passion to empower each individual with the option to make a real change to their financial position. He commenced work in the Financial planning industry in 2007 and works to deliver the highest standard of holistic advice to his clients.
In pursuing his passion of snow sports, Mark came across Cascade Mountain where he lived in Banff for 18 months and feels it represented lifestyle, passion, and dedication. Standing at 2998 meters tall, Cascade mountain represents strength, commitment and determination. In our logo, the feather represents a natural product of a clean and sustainable environment.
Kat Hughes
Commencing into the financial services industry in 2017 as part of our team, Kat has provided professional, positive, and friendly service to our clients and assists in the administration of our clients in all aspect of the financial planning process.
Kat works alongside Mark in order to produce the financial plans tailored to your individual needs.
Kat & her husband have 3 young boys and she is an elected Council Representative, is very community minded and enjoys socialising, reading, singing and dancing it out.
Katherine Newcombe
Joining the team in 2019, Katherine brings over 10 years experience in the financial planning industry. Katherine brings great energy and will be your main point of contact for the office.
Katherine had a young son, enjoys netball, sewing and quality time with the family.
Aliannah Yraola
Aliannah is our office administrator and is involved in every step of the process. She assists in delivering our promise to all our clients and is a keen to continue her growth io our industry.
With many years of experience in the Financial Planning Industry, Aliannah has recently rejoined the Cascade Financial team after a few years developing her skills.
With a small son, Aliannah’s love for watching live music is on hold, but she looks forward to returning to active travel and music gigs in the near future.
